    Hi All,
I got hooked on orchids in 1999 while walking through a botanical garden's greenhouse when I smelled a Brassia Verrucosa in bloom. I didn't see it, just smelled it and tracked it down that way (and found out what it was) - in a smashed pot in the undergrowth. Well, I figured I needed one of those (but oddly, still have never had one!) and ended up starting collecting a "few" orchids (which soon became many). Great "guy" plants, because they seem to do best when you ignore them. (Also great if you suffer allergies, and that they generally stay in bloom a long time).

Anyhow, many have come and gone (since I move a lot and have to thin the herd every time for space). I think I had 64 at my peak, but currently count 12 (getting ready for another move). I've never found a more interesting and diverse group of plants.
