Growing in Puerto Rico near the rainforest. Time has passed the plants are looking great

    Temp have been warm, too warm, haven't had a nite temp lower then 74, today's hi was 88 but the THI was 102! Day length is about 12 hours and many fall Blooming plants have started to bloom, much earlier then in NYC.

    Wow, nice plants and grow space. Looks like a full-time job there.



    Are those chunks of treefern in the wire baskets?

    Yes, I planted almost all the ephytic plants (Orchids, Aroids, Cacti, ferns) in tree fern, it's the best media to use with the amount of rain I get. It's local, cheap, half the price of bark and better then most other media I've tried. I use backets for drainage, we are in the rainforest! Lava rock in bark mixes help increase draining from it helps from becoming a mushroom spawning media. Only wish we'd get a better temp drop! Lowest temp at night has been 74-80. Temp could be a high of 88-94 but the THI could be 95-110.

    Have too any variegated plants, about 100, Sansaveria's, Orchids, Lillies, Aroids, Cacti, Palms, Impatients, Gingers,Marantas,

    If you give me a better idea of what you'd like me to ID.
