Hello from East Tennessee

    I've been playing around with orchids now for a little over a year. Boy is there lots to learn!!! And that is why I ended up here. Hope you guys don't mind lots of questions. I am 61 and due to some health issues I am retired. I have gardened for years, but had to give that up. It seemed so harmless when I bought that first orchid, ha! I probably should have found you all first so you could have warned me. They truly are rewarding .... and addictive!

    Welcome, Frances. Yes, they are addicting. Growing orchids can be a life-long learning experience. There is a lot of knowledge here and lots of people willing to share what they know. Hopefully we will see some of what your grow.

    Welcome to the forum! If you had come sooner, we would have just encouraged you sooner. We all started with one, which quickly snow balled into a collection.
