    Hi, all I am an orchid newbie looking to learn more.
    Attached are some pictures of my large phalaenopsis.
    I am scratching my head wondering if the rooted area of my phal is a result of stress or if it is a Keiki. If the roots are air roots or real roots of a new plant. Thank you for your help in advance!

    It is a keiki on a terminal spike, I'd leave it alone.
