    I'm new with orchids and have one from Ikea that is now under a grow light to keep the light consistent as I dont want it to have pests from outdoors, and the lighting in my house is either too bright or too low. I recently took an orchid in from my mom's friend to take care of and within the week it had unattached from the crown. Any idea what I should do?

    A photo would help.not sure what you are talking about at this point.
