Hello, I’m new to orchids and this forum

Good morning or afternoon, my name is Relda. I’m pretty new to orchids, I’ve killed a couple in the past. Two of my daughters have gifted me an orchid in the last few years. I killed the first one and the second one was on its way out. They were both phals. Then the one daughter helped me save the second one, which I still have. So, due to the pandemic and my poor health, I decided to make orchids my new hobby. I live in Central Florida, I moved from Hollywood Florida in 2006. When I was in Hollywood, I collected plumeria and was pretty evolved in that, but they are trees, so I sold off most of that collection before I made the move. The last five years have been filled with medical problems..ugh I’m raising grandkids, six so far and I still have three living with me. My current orchid collection is made up of phalaenopsis, dendrobiums, cattleya and vandas. Most are still babies, but I’m now collecting only more mature plants..well this is only a small part of my life story. Hope to meet new orchid friends..I won’t bore you with anymore of my ramblings..lol
