Hello Orchid Lovers to Mountain Shaman’s Cloud Orchids

My Name is Bill. I’ve been growing orchids in one form or another for over 35 years.

From growing 300 intermediate/warm orchids in a backyard summer shade house/winter glass enclosed front porch and growing 35+ Masdevallias, Draculas, and Odontoglossums in a cooled/humidified repurposed second bedroom in the 1990s. (I do believe now that cooled bedroom definitely contributed to my divorce! LOL)
To spending the 2000s growing out and flowering big box store orchid seedlings with my house plants. I will introduce you to “Grandma” a Hoya Compacta, Indian Rope plant over 47 years old and “Aunty” and “Uncle” who have been together for over 35 years!!

Fortunately a few months ago I caught the Orchid insanity again with a growing collection of my favorite orchid species “Stanhopea” all hanging in a window.

I will be constructing a cooled grow chamber (man cave alert) in my living room and will start collecting the cool growers again when the fall shipping season starts.
