    I am a relatve newby to growing orchids and hail from Manawatu NZ. I have been seriously engaged in the hobby since my retirement 4 years ago and mainly grow minature cymbidiums, cattleyas and australian dendrobiums.
    I belong to 2 local clubs, which in NZ still remains the best sourse of new plant material, given our very strict biosecurity laws.
    Look forward to joining discussions in due course, but am happy to observe and learn in the interim
