As you probably know, I grow a lot of bulbophyllums. I walked into my GH this morning, and the smell of vomit was overwhelming. I looked around, and I can't find the source. Can someone here please help me think of which one might be flowering? I couldn't find one, but I suspect it's there somewhere. TIA.

Where you doing some heavy drinking in the greenhouse the night before? I think the smell of vomit can be different depending on what the person ate before vomiting, what liquor they got drunk on, and if really was a person who vomited (it could have some other animal). Can you give us a better idea of how the vomit smelled?

We both know that ain't gonna happen, Forrest. Why don't you just start listing off which bulbos smell like semi-used food instead...?

Just curious, what are you planning to do with it if/when you find it?

What is it, 10 % of the Bulbophyllums small bad, and a lot smell like fish, vomit or faeces. So it could be a lot of species. But I agree with forrest, give us a list to choose from... ;-) If you show me yours...

What I would give to see yours, Linda. Then again, it would just be a tale of "you can look but you can't touch".

No. I confused this thread with the other one. Sorry.

Frit isn't blooming. The capsule on it is forming quite nicely, though.
