Orchid growing in this climate is a bit difficult...

It's 1 here right now. 1F. -17C. The skies are clear, and it's not even early morning yet. Cold effin night tonight. Hope the heater doesn't crap out. This is February weather, not December weather.

*Jon wanders off to find a warm place to snuggle up for the night*

Yea but it's Colorado! Mountains n' crap. It's *supposed* to be cold there. I mean c'mon. It's like if you go to Madagascar and proclaim "Egads! this place is crawling with lemurs and festooned with Jumellea" People would be all "no duh Einstein". So my point is....ummmm, I dunno...cold here too dude. What can ya do? At least you don't have squirrels to deal with.

I agree about the squirrels although my dog would still like to chase a few.
I really like this stuff. We had November weather in October this year. Cloudy, grey, rainy. Not a good rain either. It was that misty, drizzly crap. I swore every time I stepped out of the house. Last Saturday I stepped out to walk the dog. It was 12f and a nice breeze blowing. I tried but couldn't muster up any cuss words. It just feels good. I usually like to wait till late morning to give the sun a chance to get above the tree tops. Nothing like a walk in the park on a sunny day.
    :)
