    Hello ,
    I´m Andrea and a german Dendrobium collector . I found this great forum in my search for Dendrobium cultivation .
    I´ve 200 Dendrobiums and care them on the balcony and on windowsill. I also have a greenhouse in the home, so to speak, a walk-in box . All my friends think I'm crazy :)

    And they are right ;)

    I'm heading in that direction: out of 150 orchids I've got under lights, 45 are Dendrobium species. Little by little I've been getting rid of other things to make room for more Dendrobiums. It's a problem. o_O

    Welcome, Andrea. If you are crazy then all of us here are.
    I used to call myself a "Dendrobium nut" but I've since diversified and am now just a "species nut". You will fit in very well here.

    I have about 70 species and varieties. I particularly like the highly fragrant ones.

    Welcome to OI. I have a few Aussie Dendrobiums but if I had time and space I would definitely have more Dens.

    I have noticed that things that seem completely sensible to orchid folks appear entirely insane to most people.:)

    I´ve a few Aussie Dends ,too and I´d like to see pics from your plants.
    I´ve looking your blogspot and the Cattleya velutina is amazing !
    I don´t have catts ,because they are not compatible with me :(

    Hi Andrea, I wish you a belated welcome to the forum. I too love Dendrobiums and I have enjoyed seeing the beautiful species you've been posting; I hope you'll continue to post and share with us.
