    Description: This species is from mid alt. forest in S. China, Thailand and Loas.

    Culture:

    Temps:
    - Summer: 65-90F
    - Winter: 55-70F or slightly cooler

    Light: High light

    Humidity: 60-80%

    Air circulation: Breeze

    Growing location: outside in the yard during the warmer months; inside under HID light during the colder months

    Growing medium: Mount - Other

    Growing medium notes: My plant was on a hardwood stick

    Water:
    - Frequency: water it every other day year round(keep up the humidity and let the plant dry out lightly between waterings)
    - Fertilizer & frequency: 2x per month during the growing season; less during the colder months
    - Dry rest: No.

    Blooming season: Summer, Fall

    Flower size: 2" flower, spikes on my plant are 1-2 feet long. Individual flower lasts about two or three weeks in my growing condition. Since not all of the flowers open at the same time, the plant can be in bloom for a long period of time

    Plant size: A medium size plant; pendant growing habit;

    Other firsthand observations: Grow it very bright. 3000FC or more light

    Other plants growing well nearby:
    Brassavola cucullata
    Brassavola nodosa v. grandiflora
    Ascocentrum garayi
    Cuitlauzina pendula(when it is indoor under HID light)
