I have a Mexican clone that has slightly larger and more yellow flowers. Interestingly, the Mexican clone blooms in August and Colombian clone - in January. BFB31DC9-6F4C-4A58-AF03-4FC560B81711.jpeg

Has anybody been able to pollinate them? I tried to make an outcross using the pollen from my Mexican clone and it didn't take.

I have a different clone (although I need to look up where it is from) that grows as a clump instead of the more spread out version. I'm cautiously optimistic that the new growth will flower soon (the last one blasted during all my moves). Maybe we can try to swap pollen at some point - although I'm not sure if that will bring about any more success.

You also may be able to check with Jeff Tyler from In Situ Orchids? I think he was able to successfully pollinate his.
