    I've got a sulcata as well. Apparently as a desert tortoise he suffers from dehydration (yes we soak him and give him water all the time) and just had to have a 10cm urolith removed surgically. Of course I was not brought into the decision along with my wife when she and the vet made the call to remove his phallus "because it was in the way." It's a cruel world for a tort. But he's doing great now! Aside from his manhood.
