Welcome to the forum. I hope you have fun with this hobby, it can quickly become an obsession ( in a good way ) . I am jealous of your growing conditions. Here in the USA, most of us have to deal with growing inside and all the hassles that entails.

There are certain places in the USA that are great for growing orchids, notably Hawaii, southern California, and southern Florida. However the USA is a very big place with many different climates. Outside of the locations mentioned above, most of the USA gets at least occasional frosts, which procludes year round outdoor culture. I live in Pennsylvania, which is in the Mid-Altantic region, which is fine in the summer, during which time I often grow outside, but the rest of the year, it's inside only, which make me have to deal with the problems of often insufficient humidity and light levels. I would say a lot of intermediate and hot growing orchids can take pretty high day time temps as long as the nights are not super hot and humidity is high. I am not sure if that helps.

What is your climate like anyway? I just assumed hot and humid but I really have no idea what it is really like.

Yes. Its hot and extremely humid. So i mostly water my plant twice a day and most my orchids is vanda or asco.... As for me. I found this 2 types are easy to grow and flowering at my house condition

Anthony, if you can ( and probably should) water your potted orchids substancially less then twice a day if you want to avoid root rot. Once or twice a day sounds about right for bare root vandas though.

I live in Tampa which is in west coast of Florida. Very hot and humidity over the summer. It can be really cold during winter but short winter. Dave the scientist is rite about some part of USA that are good for orchid growing.
