I took a few better photos than last year. It's currently got one spike almost fully open and a 2nd on the way. I question the name on this one. Can anyone confirm that it is dixonii or something else? I think it could be a couple of different species based on some photos I've seen on the net. It smells like road kill that's been in the sun a while.

According to IOSPE B dixonii is a synonym of Bulbophyllum morphologorum and yours matches that species pretty well. Nice pictures.

I've also saw the photos on IOSPE and it doesn't look like the one Dale took. Though, it does look like others I've found on the net. Hence my confusion.

Wow beautiful pictures! Funny thing somebody in Poland have exactly the same plant now in flowers with two spikes in exactly the same stage!! with no name and asking for ID.

So it is not morphologorum which has much narrower and longer ends of petals, the only one which fit to this one perfectly - petals I mean - is Bulb. orientale according to Seidenfaden drawings - And for me it is Bulbophyllum orientale! colour of bulbs, spike fit.

I was leaning towards orientale myself, but I didn't want to change the tag without a few other opinions.
