    I love this flower! My laelias have not been blooming well for a few years and are now making a comeback. I am going to have to make some room in the collection, but this is a keeper! Besides a lovely flower it is a fairly compact plant.

    It is very lovely. I have one that is of similar shape and color but not compact.

    I can't say that I noticed the fragrance. Happily, the name makes me think of being on the beach in Mexico.

    my friend's family used to own a beach house in Sinaloa, it was so tranquil, I can't tell you how much I miss it. However the east coast beaches are honestly not great fyi.

    I've been on beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, but it was the Pacific I was thinking of.
