Laelia superbiens x anceps (peloric)

    I bought this one as a seedling Laelia superbiens. But now the first flower opened, I really don't think that lable is correct. To me it looks like a superbiens x anceps and it is peloric as well. Although I'm no fan of hybrids and/or peloric, I must confess that I quite like this flower.

    Assuming that it is superbiens x anceps (L. Nemesis) it looks to me like the L. anceps part is the lineata form (like L. anceps 'Disciplinata') I have a L. Nemesis that I got as L. superbiens, when it bloomed it was L. anceps on steroids. I think you're correct. I really like this one!

    I also think the bloom is beautiful. And whether or not you like it peloric, I think it adds a lot to the beauty. I think it is like an artist creating or painting a work of art.
