Sowed ca. 18 months ago, they're approaching deflasking size. Some even bloom in the flasks! The calodictyon-like leaves are tiny, 5-6 mm wide. Species from southern Ecuador, not far from the Colombian border, ca. 2000m altitude

Wonderful. Did you mean northern Ecuador? I saw Lepanthes volador while in Ecuador very near the northern border. We'll look forward to seeing the blooms.

Ho yes of course, northern Ecuador! our guide saw some L. volador also, at another place, in the Esmeraldas province, at a much lower /warmer altitude (there we found L. saltatrix, tentaculata and maybe calodictyon). These barbelifera come from seeds made on plants which have, of course, bloomed, and have positively been identified as barbelifera. I hope they make the flask to real world transition without problem, they're toooooo cute plants:D
