Lepanthes escobariana

    A first bloom seedling of a large flowered lepanthes. All things are relative and this flower is about 7/8" tall which is large by lepanthes standards.

    It is a large flower for the size of the plant.

    What temperatures does this species like.. Is it a cool needy plant?

    Brett, I have grown this at 50F minimum and 56F minimum, but I think it prefers the cooler nights. I don't have any warmer conditions to test it in. Perhaps others have tried it warmer.
