Apologies for the iPhone photo, but I wanted to catch this one while I could. Flowers measure nearly 4 cm tip to tip.

Indeed Tom, 4 cm. Measured twice because I was so surprised that for once I did not need a magnifying glass to admire a Lepanthes flower.

That is great and I would love to get one like that someday.

Thank you for sharing the photos...and I don't think we have enough Lepanthes growers here.

Kelly- I picked this plant up at the Mid America Orchid Congress in Columbus, Ohio last November, so it has only been part of the collection for 4 months. Night time greenhouse temperature is 55 during the winter months and given the cold Michigan winter, day time temperatures rarely got above 65. We'll see how it fares as we move into spring and summer.

Hope to post more Lepanthes pictures, Tom. I am addicted to them, but not always successful in growing them.

Very nice! These plants are from a batch I made (and shared protocorms with Ecuagenera) with plants purchased from A. Niessen. Not ever seen them again in their catalogue, must not be common!

Interesting! I recently received an updated price list from Ecuagenera (3/21/15) and L. helgae is now listed.

He is talking about Orquideas Del Valle in Colombia. A. Niessen is the owner of O.D.V.

and I would love see more Lepanthes from you, ash1de. I only have about 50 Lepanthes and I love to add more to my collection.

Thanks for the clarification, Tom. I, too, have about 50 Lepanthes, but keep adding whenever I can.
