I would like to know your first-hand culture tips. Thanks.

Also, what is the story on this one? I don't think it has been officially described. Some say it is just the new color form of L. echo from Peru...

It was formally described in the latest issue of the OD. I grow it mounted with 56F minimum, though I have recently gotten some more clones that I am trying cooler. It has been quite easy and very free-flowering.

Yuup, I bought it in Redland last Friday (if that is what you are talking about).

Fantastic! I am so glad to hear it finally has been formally described. Thank you for the culture tips too.

Yes! My brother had set one aside and when we went back to pick it up they had sold it, at least we know where it is ;)

I got mine from Andy's and it doesn't seem to be too picky. It seems to do well enough in my high humidity and low airflow terrarium (71°F maximum/55°F minimum). In the roughly six months I've had it, it's put out a leaf or two and bloomed a few times on a couple of inflorescences, but I'm sure it would appreciate more airflow.

ZWUM/Zach, certainly I am not the one who bought the last one. There were at least four more plants left on the table after I paid mine.

Zack, thanks for the culture info.

goods(too many Zach here), it was the only Lepanthes that I bought and Peru Flora brought in only one Lepanthes species. ODV had three or four other Lepanthes species( I was hoping they had a lot more than that) and I already have had them in my collection. I didn't check on Ecuagenera's plants closely but I doubt they brought in any Lepanthes for this show.

I was just kidding with you Tom. There were very few lepanthes at the show. Ecugenera didn't bring any lepanthes unless they were gone by the time I got there.

Lepanthes niesseniae, L. calodictyon and L. telipogoniflora were the only three Lepanthes that ODV brought in for the show. Juan said I should do preorder for Redland if I wanted other Lepanthes on their product list. I don't blame them for not bringing more Lepanthes because most of their Lepanthes could not handle the hot condition for long in the park anyway.

Most of the vendors are very happy to take pre-orders before shows. If you aren't there to pick up, they ship.
