    Hello all,
I purchased a Lpths. quandi a few months ago, but have found very little info on this species; it's plugging along and putting out new growths, but I'm curious if anyone has any additional info (or can point me in the proper direction). Thanks!

Other than it is an accepted species by Kew, I could not find anything about this one either. Good luck with it! Please post a photo when it blooms.

As soon as I can get my macro to function properly I will definitely post a picture for you; it is bloom right now and as per many of the Lpths, it's flowers are very diminutive...

Thank you and welcome to the forum. I am just glad to see a new member post anything here. I am looking forward to your photos.
Lately I have seen so many phantom members hiding behind the computer screen-- "new members" who have registered here yet they still have not posted anything yet. Join then hide/leave? you don't even need to register here to look at the photos and search for information now... It is a big puzzle for me. Sorry for the rant on your thread.

It is in the recently published "green book" Lepanthes Of Colombia. Collection elevation from Antioquia 2600 m and Putumayo 2200 m. It was published in the AOS Bulletin in Sept 1984. From the elevation you can assume it is a cool grower. And as Tom said, welcome to OI.

I'm sorry that these pictures are so "small" I'm going to have to invest in a macro lens if I want to catch this little guy up-close and personal; I'd guess the flowers to be no more than 3.5mm
At any rate, enjoy them; as soon as I find/borrow a better camera I'll post something a bit closer in.

Bloom cycle two; I think that I'm going to have to try macro with 3x mag tomorrow, but these are a bit clearer. IMG_0029.JPG IMG_0023.JPG

Thanks for posting this. I'm sure you will enjoy it if you get a macro lens.
