That is awesome. I'm assuming it is a cool grower?

A remarkable species but not an easy one IMO. Love the flower size too.

I got mine from Ecuagenera in January of this year. I'm growing it in a small plastic thumb pot with straight long stand sphagnum. I grow it in bright shade in my greenhouse with daily misting, and humidity never lower than about 75% (averaging 85 %). My night time temperatures have been consistently about 50 F, with daytime around 75. I'd like the daytime to be much cooler, but we've had unusually warm temperatures for our coastal region. There is fairly strong air movement which I feel is necessary when humidity is high.

Awesome flower. It looks like raspberry chocolate marble cake. Thank you for sharing.

This thing is still going strong. It's grown one new growth in 2 years. It has been in almost continuously in bloom for the past 2 years. Still extremely difficult to photograph the way the flower naturally hangs...almost like a Dracula. lepanthes_tigrina.jpg lepanthes_tigrina2.jpg lepanthes_tigrina3.jpg
