    This is its first blooming for me;

    I got it mounted from Oak Hill a year ago.

    It's very cheerful!

    Everyone keeps posting these. I need to get one. I mean, that's a bitchin' flower.

    JonP, good going. Is it mounted or potted?

    It came mounted on Oak Hill's ubiquitous cedar plank. I had the mount sitting on a clay pot for its photo session.

    Generally, yes. It's not a prefered medium but if it comes that way I'll usually leave it be. I put some D. kingianum seedlings on some left over shingles and they are doing fine.
