I just purchased a plant which was labeled as the subject species but the flower looks wrong to me. It looks like Leptotes bicolor and I was almost positive of that until I looked at Andy's site and it shows this species with the same flower which is bicolor. IOSPE shows a flower that has petals and lip all the same pink/purple color. Does anyone grow this species and if so are the flowers that variable?

It has many more flowers to come so I will get a picture when it does. It appears neither species normally flower in the fall but who knows what triggers flowering in these.

    Leptotes confusion

I was also confused regarding the Leptotes bohnkianum. I purchased what was called a Leptotes bohnkianum that had originally been been purchased from Andy's. I later purchased a Leptotes pohlitinocoi from another source. When each plant bloomed, the flowers were the same. I asked Andy about this and he explained that there had been some confusion at one time. Andy's site now shows the correct plants. IOPSE also had it wrong.
The former L. bohnkianum on Andy's site has undergone a sex change and now is L. bohnkiana. What you have is the L. bohnkiana. And it does look like a small L. bicolor.

Thanks for the info. I have 3 different Leptotes with buds at the moment, unicolor, bohnkiana (thanks for the name change) and pohilitnocoi. Hopefully they will all all eventually open although they have been very slow.

Thanks Marni, I stumbled on this site yesterday. Once I have flowers I can make some good comparisons.
