I found it hard to photograph, but this gives an idea of my intermediate greenhouse. It is about 21 x 21 ft, 8 ft hight at the side walls and 13 at the highest. It is about time to start adding more shade cloth layers soon. Sorry for the red tags, that's how I mark divisions. The west wall of the greenhouse is attached to the house which helps keep it cooler in summer. It is pressure treated wood with double wall polycarbonate and is built on block and piers rather than a foundation. The design was dictated by the fact that I was building it over my existing old green house that was a low roof and 12 x 14 ft, so the center beam is not in the center. The old one was demolished after all but a few polycarbonate panels were in place, so the orchids were only without a swamp cooler for a 24 hours. It has worked out well and if I get the money to replace another one that is rotting away, I would do a similar design.
