Masdevallia amanda is a first bloomer for me. It lives in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. There it is found at altitudes of 1800m to 3000m. She is from the subgenus Amanda, Section Amanda. And the plants from this section bloom with several flowers on one peduncle. Masdevallia amanda can have up to 4 flowers on a stem.
I have had this since August this year and I cultivate it cool to intermediate.
