Masdevallia aurea -- two clones

    I got both of these clones from Ecuagenera. One has more yellow in the body than the other.

    Well, this is not aurea, that species is smooth, or glabrous, inside. I'll need to wait for another flower to open to confirm the species. Stay tuned

    I'm pretty sure these are ampullacea, but need to check the petals just to be certain.

    Hello William,

    Do you keep this species intermediate-warm or more intermediate-cool?
    I want to buy one but I'm not sure if I can keep 'm in my orchidarium that is more on the cool side.

    Hello weeand, I grow these in a cool greenhouse (50 F minimum and 75 maximum [ in summer], 60 maximum in winter)
