Masdevallia instar is a cool to intermediate growing species from Ecuador and Peru:

My eyesight is not so good, so does this flower has a lip or I am failing to see it?

The lip is appressed to the column.

Have you ever been hiking and wandered into an area where conditions were just right for wild flowers? I can't imagine coming into an area where there are 100s of Masdevallia flowers, that would be a top experience to see such a thing with Masd instar (more so than 100s of velifera).

    Thanks.
@Ricardo: Yes, the lip is apressed to the column.

@Dpfarr: I wish I could some day visit an area where you can see hundreds of Masdevallia flowers. In Germany definitely not.
