Masdevallia princeps

    This is the clone 'Clackamas' AM/AOS. It has a natural spread of 12 inches, and is 15 inches from tip to tip. There were two more spikes that got chowed by a slug early in development :(.

    Mine rarely bloom until I get a fairly large plant. Then it is constant, year round.

    I have found that these like bright light, until the leaves begin to lightly yellow. Then they bloom like crazy. Currently, my M. princeps is still blooming off of old inflorescence from last Winter. I'm seeing some new inflorescence beginning.
