I am not great with Masdevallia. I seem to kill all that I have owned with the exception of this Masdevallia princeps. I’m obviously doing something right as it has 4 spikes. Currently only one flower, but three other spikes are maturing. The spike is easily 2’ long and the flower is 10” from tip to tip. Not the nicest form since the lower part twists off to the side, however, this is the first bloom of this plant. Hopefully, the next flower, or three, will be nicer.
