    Lost tag... Any idea what species this Masdevallia is?

    Leaves length 5"

    Leaves width 1"

    Flower tip to tail 5"

    Hi Dexter, it would appear to be in the Section Alaticaules and based on the size of the bloom, it would eliminate a lot of them. Is it a successive bloomer? It seems similar in size to M. cracens, but your plant has much longer caudae. Do you have any knowledge of where it was originally collected? Maybe rojohnii?

    Hi Chuck.... It was one of the plants in Mali's collection... Many were mislabeled and/or had no labels... Ron did not know what species this was... I'm hoping someone out there has more knowledge than I do!!!

    So then I would guess something obscure like M. rojohnii given the source of the plant
