Maxillaria amazonica

    Another miniature, this one also has small flowers and might do well under lights, though I have kept it cool. A first flowering on a very small plant, I overlooked the flower for several days before noticing it today. I am not 100% certain of the ID as there are two pic on the net as max.amazinica, one is a labiata cattleya and the other a cream-colored max.picts-type flower. Whatever it is, I like it.

    not in the brunnea/amazonica/porrecta group. Country of orign?
