Maxillaria ecuadorensis

    Intermediate grower. Flowers are 2 3/4" tall and unscented.

    Well, it is not ecuadorensis. The type illustration shows a flat, oblong, undulate midlobe. Think tongue depressor with wavy margins.

    The deeply keeled midlobe of your plant - like the bow of a ship - puts it with lepidota. Whether it is a variation of lepidota, one of the species shoved into lepidota's synonymy, or a new species I can't say.

    Pretty thing though.
