Maxillaria edwardsii

    I acquired this in a trade a few years ago under another name and it is a slow grower. A smallish plant for a maxillaria, it tops out at 8" (20.3cm) or so. The flowers appear on single-lowered inflorescences and are about 1 3/8" (3.5cm) wide. Thanks to Eric Christenson, I now have the correct ID.
