    IC grower. Flowers are wonderfully scented and 5 3/4" tall.

    You do. Some of the Brazilian 'pincushion' maxillaria are only 2" tall. They don't have 6" flowers, though.

    Dale grows this intermediate. It also does well in a fairly extreme range. I grow mine with Laelia anceps, but with less light. A 42 F minimum night in the winter is normal, but it did survive an week of 32 nights a few years ago. It takes the extremes in summer where 90 is not unusual a couple times a week, though it does cool down to the 50's at night.
