    This is blooming for me now, purchased from Orchids & More a couple of years ago. Native to South America, it is a small size, hot to cool growing terrestrial, litofytiskt or epiphytic orchid found at altitudes between 500 and 2500 meters. Quite a bushy plant... Species vary in color - as the name suggests. I have the yellow form too. I grow my mounted on the windowsill, intermediate under medium light.

    Nice. As you mentioned they are highly variable. My red is almost black.
