    Question. Does this software automatically reduce whatever avatar we select to 80 x 80 or 19.5? I have a web-ready photo but it's a little larger than that. Do I need to reduce it myself?

    I just put mine up and it was already re-sized but (as is the same on my forum) said it was too big, but it wasn't...so..I guess that was a long way of saying I dunno?

    Looks like you loaded a picture as your profile picture instead of your avatar, Wendy. About 5 links below the "profile picture" link in your options panel, there is a link about editing your avatar. Try that.
