Update: About four weeks ago the nighttemperature dropped considerably below 10 degrees C. Not for one night but for more to come. So I moved all my plants indoors. They are now in my orchidarium.
My orchidarium is 90x55x100 cm. I build it with aluminium profiles and polycarbonate doubleplates. On top of it is a fixture with two Osram Dulux L De Luxe 55W 954. In the upperpart I have two Scythe Slip Stream 120mm 1200 rpm for ventilation. During the evening and night a fan is blewing cool air from outsite in the orchidarium. I mist 3 times a day for 1 minute to water the plants and keep humidity high. It is RO water with Rain Mix fertilizer. RH is about 80% - 90%. Temperature is 10 - 20 degrees C. The whole bunch is on my attick.
Looks great to mee. And for the good observer, you might see a resemblance with something a Swedish orchidgrower. Karma. She was and is a big inspiration for me.

Weeand, that is a beautiful orchidarium. Will this be the first time you have used it?

Karma used to visit this Forum and I miss her. Please let her know we are a friendlier Forum than it was in times past. :)

    Thanks for the great post.

    Hello Kelly,

I started to use it, from februari to may. And now for the whole winter. Exciting! Can I maintain the low temperature at night, is the airflow sufficient, do I not overwater or underwater, etc. etc. Can I find the right place for Trisetella.

Karma has gone through a difficult period in her live, as you can read on her blog. She just started blogging again. And in november she Goes on a fieldtrip to Costa Rica. To see her precious orchids for real.

I will pass the message and from my experience it is a friendly forum. And I think you and a few others play a great part in that.[emoji106][emoji6]

Forgot to mention. My orchidarium is controlled by Lucky Reptile Thermo Control Pro II and Lucky Reptile Humidity Control. And misting is als automatically done.

I like your plant rack! I'll use that idea for my cases, if you don't mind?

I see a serious flaw: you need more plants!

Natureman: off course I don't mind. The idea isn't mine. Got it from Karma, a Swedish orchid grower. Great inspiration for me.

Ray: [emoji4] Well, if I keep up in this speed it will be full in 2 years. I actually bought three plants the other weekend. Pleurothallis megalops, Masdevallia yunganensis spp Calocodon.

And I bought Dendrobium cuthbersonii (bicolor x red). I wanted to try if I can keep it alive in the first place and hopefully it will eventually bloom.
