My Ionopsis utraculariodes in bloom !!!!

    Hello everybody !!!!! I just wanted to share with you guys some more of what's blooming for me now. This is a cute little species that I've had for a couple of months. The spike is quite long and the show of flowers is beautiful !!!!! Enjoy !!!!

    Man oh days. I had one of those once, killed it so quick, I never did learn how to pronounce ithe name correctly!

    I've killed a few in my orchid growing career. I know better than try with my conditons, so thanks for posting. It is a wonderful species.

    It is a short-lived species in nature. Mine had lived and bloomed for just over five years then it decided to leave me last winter. Nicely done!:clap::clap::clap:

    Thank you everybody !!!!!

    I was there actually today setting up the display for Coalition for Orchid Species and took one of my blooming catts to be displayed at the South Dade Amateur display. Will be there on Sunday.

    The good this is that they meka keikis so the older plant dies and the youger ones go on.

    I've been at the show since yesterday. I helped put together the display for COS and took one of my catts in bloom to be displayed in another society. I was there today and will be there tomorrow most if not the entire day. I'll be with the societies.
