Can someone downsize the photo? All I can see is one little closed eye and what I
    thought was a fluffy tail.

Thank you for resizing, Jon. Isn't he precious? I love Malamutes and Huskies, but that
coat does blow big time. On the other hand, it makes great stuffing for pillows and
such. What a sweet little sleeping face.

Thanks everyone................he is a sweetie and his house mates Spot and Lulu are getting used to him but he has grown so fast that he now is bigger than both of them. You can imagine how he looks beside my Mannie, a little Matlese. :D Thanks for resizing the picture.

Beth, I have a wonderful idea. I used to have seven Huskies, so I know both breeds like
to pull. Get or make a little wagon, hitch him up (when he's a little older) and let him
pull Spot, Lulu and Mannie around the yard. My Huskies LOVED pulling each other and
an elderly poodle around...made 'em so proud.

Yes, mam, a Malamute is a BIG DOG and very well-muscled. Generally, they have a
bit more sedate temperment than Huskies. I've never been owned by a Mal, but have
been around several and they are very sweet, loving critters.
