This is my Russian Blue type cat. Today was a busy day. He caught a tree rat and killed it, then went chasing butterflies in the garden. Later he chased the laser lighter pointer all around the house. He is a lean, mean, fighting machine.

His coloring is wonderful. Was he a rescue? I've seen photos of Russian Blues and they're neat.

Clearly a noble beast and a well deserved rest indeed.
Anything that takes out a tree rat should be wrought into an idol and a shrine built unto it.

The Breeze and I agree on the tree rat issue.

He did not eat it. e brought it into the house and just sat there by it until we noticed. He catches dragon flies too.

Is he a rescue or does he have a pedigree and papers?

He could have at least eaten the head. Doesn't he know there are starving cats in India?

As in squirrels. It's a job for the cats to keep them out of the bird feeder.

Yes, he came from a rescue group down in Gainesville. He grew up in the shadows of Florida Field.

    "buttons"
I like that terminology, Wendy. Buttons.
It fits perfectly and is much more fun then what we call them.
