I was hospitalized for a month and no one knew what to do with my orchids. So they never got watered. I am home now and have a lot of very dry plants. I am particularly concerned about the paphiopedilum and oncidiums. The dendrobiums don’t look too awful - the bulbs aren’t too shriveled the phalaenopsis also look unhappy with limp leaves. So, any ideas and suggestions are welcome especially for the paphs Thanks

I think the best thing to do would be to soak them, submerged in some water with 1 tablespoon of sugar in 1 gallon water. Leave them in for a several minutes or until bubbles stop coming out of the medium. Rinse the plants so you don't attract ants. Keep them a bit shaded for a week or so before putting them back in there regular places. I hope you are recovering and doing well. Good luck.
