Hi, I just joined I’ve been growing orchids for about 2 years. Mostly paphiopedilum and phals and dendrobium along with a few from the oncidium alliance (2 tolumnia). I’m going to try expanding my genera this year I just ordered a compact cattleya from SVO. I am also looking around for a couple of Phragmepedium. Bulbophyllum fascinate me but I don’t think I can meet their humidity needs. I grow in my house so light and humidity are a challenge especially in the winter. Other interests are planning to make our yard more pollinator and wildlife friendly ( my husband helps with that). We are also involved in animal rescue. I am a crazy old cat lady lol. I am really looking forward to learning a lot here

    Hi Judith,
Welcome to the forum! We are all crazy about something, especially orchids. There are lots of good orchid growing tips on the forum.

Before I put in a greenhouse, I had some success with Bulbophyllums grown on a window sill, so give it a try.
