new orchiderium

    I'm starting an orchiderium out of an old terrarium that's 12"x12"x30" I'm standing it up long ways to try some hanging plants Any suggestions?

    I'd say go as big as you can because you're going to fill it up fast! Also, I had one oriented vertically for a while, and found it hard to light the bottom. I've moved it to a horizontal orientation, and within a month, have seen great new growth on plants that were previously stalled.

    thanks for the feedback i'm using a lite weight 28" florescent lite with 4 clear sides for natural lite
