New to Orchids, Need Advice

    I just purchased two orchids. As starters these are Oncda. Chaculatum "Golden Pacific" and the other one has no name. Pls advise the first step taking care of orchids. I know these are just "plain old' orchids but I would like to be successful with these. I'll appreciate any advise and/or suggestions.

    hiya jerry -

    first of all, from one newbie to another, welcome to oi. nice people here, but one word of advice: bring beer.

    i guess people will want to see pictures of your plants, particularly of the one you can't identify. as there is a range of conditions different orchids need.

    Jerry Just 'plain old orchids' are the best start with. If you are having problems with these, someone will help.

    Jerry welcome aboard. Tell about where you live. It helps drastically about our advice unless your from Texas.
