    Hi to all,

My name is Wouter Noordeloos and live in Waddinxveen, Holland. My own hobby is growing Carnivorous plants for 23 years now and I'm a boardmember of the dutch Carnivorous plant Society Carnivora. The last 8 years I have many good national and international contacts with boardmembers of all different plant societies, like Fuchsia, succulents and Orchids. Why? We are all plant-lovers. Sometimes it's good to combine the powers and orginise plant-events together.
Last April me and my wife helped the dutch Orchid society for a few days at a large exhibition.

Sometimes Orchid growers and members growing 1 or 2 carnivorous plants and members of the Carnivorous plant society growing a few Orchids. Last month a present a slide show of Carnivorous plants at a local Fuchsia society and I bring a few plants for sale. All the plants were gone.

Growing orchids is actually my wife's hobby and her english it not that good enough to come along on this forum, that's why I'm doing it for her.
She's growing different kind of Orchids, in the living room but also outside, the hardy species like Ophris. In our home there are several terrariums with artificial lights and in the living room there a lot of orchids like Phalaenopsis and Dendrobiums.

I hope me and my wife can learn a lot on this forum and have a pleasant time here.

    Take care,

    Wouter

welcome to you two....I also grow a few carnivorous plants with my orchids, the pinguiculas for nat control are great companion plants. I love my sera cinnas checking them daily, last summer I was given some cuttings of napenthies that have really taken off. I hear what your saying about plant people, been one my whole life.

Welcome! I love CPs, too. I grow mostly warmth-tolerant Nepenthes in my orchid shadehouse. I'd love to see pictures of your CPs.

Where's MJ? It's against the rules for a new member to go more than a few hours without being asked a very important question...

Your name is really cool. Welcome!
I started off my plant obsession with CPs mainly. Still have a couple of Nepenthes and some pings for gnat control. If i had more room, I'd have more CPs and more Angs.

Cool, now I know who is the forum greeter with beer. For beer sakes, I think she needs to dress up a little though.

Hi, Wouter. Say hi to your wife for us too.
