Hi there , I'm temmy from West Borneo Indonesia
Welcome Temmy. You live in an island with a staggering degree of orchid diversity and home of Paphiopedilum rothschildianum.
@Ricardo and KellyW thx , I hope can learn about orchid here and both of you may direct me cause truly I've seen many kind of species here but I didn't know about it
Welcome! We'd love to see pictures of some that you have seen. Are you growing them or just looking in the forest?
Couple years ago my parents are growed it, but since they pass away , all of they collection I gave to friends, now I just seen many in the forest and remembered one off they always talk about gingantea, I didn't know what kind of that can you give me a clue? Many2 thx before
Yes some Paphiopedilum rothschildianum, growth here and the size are incredible
Perhaps it was Rhynchostylis gigantea. It grows in your area.
Welcome to the forum. I've always wanted to visit Kalimantan but have only got as far as Papua New Guinea. It's a very nice part of the world, especially if you like plants. Are you in the highlands or coastal lowlands?
