    Hi all,

I started doing a little bit of plant care at a job site in June. They had 2 orchids and a bunch of porthos, snakes, and a few others. I brought a couple back from the brink as their previous caretaker moved to a different location. Fast forward a few months and I thought I should pick up a few plants for home. I bought a few different things and one orchid but the orchid fascinated me. Five months later and I have 10 misc. plants plus 3 new baby African Violets six baby succulents I split from a larger plant and 12 phalaenopsis. In November I didn't plan on buying more than the 5 orchids I had at that point but then I saw a few on clearance that were injured at Lowes, one was a single pot with three plants one of whom was seriously injured. I repotted all my original plants after the blooms fell. The injured group I split up and repotted and two of the four grocery store plants I also got on clearance also got repotted and (knock on wood) they did not go into shock and are maintaining their blooms so far. I have to give credit to Miss Orchid Girl (Danni), her videos on YouTube were my first source and that I have kept this group alive and healthy is all her fault! Be careful of relying on Miss Orchid Girl for info. A fair amount of it is incorrect.

    Hi Ray,

Can you give me examples of her misdirections? I have relied on her so far...

    Thanks,
    Chris
